A four layer square perspex sandwich. Layer 3 contains 4 independent perspex disks painted with yellow spirit dye and silver powder. Layer 2 incorporates 4 yellow perspex discs, slightly off-set from the layer 3 disks, as if the whole was illuminated from the centre point and layer 3 was a shadow layer.

This unit recalls the concept of Machian resonance. The simple materiality of the discs in the foreground act as exemplars for the larger experience of a 360 degree view of the solar sky. The whole is re-experienced as a machined artifact.
