An ensemble in constellation format of 7 four layer perspex sandwiches with a positively curved outline. Layer 3 contains a circular insert painted in spirit dye and silver powder as if glimpsing a telescopic view of a distant sky. Layer 2 has lead splashes embedded as a retinal layer of ballistic light.

This unit recalls the retinal impact of photons of light during an astronomical observation. The whole is experienced again as a machined artifact.
