'Machian Blue Oval' although a simple square, this is a complex piece internally.

Behind a flood of blue dye is a further deep blue perspex oval with four even deeper blue disks embedded, as if on the edge of ultra-violet invisibility.

Based on an obsevation of the 'Einstein Cross' multiple quasar - are the four disks separate entities or multiple images of the same object?
