A three layer perspex sandwich with positive curved outline.
Layer 2 is painted with blow dried spirit dye leaving graduated evaporation marks as if glimpsing a telescopic view of a distant nebula. A large circular ocean planet insert on layer 2 is surrounded by three smaller disks in orbit as if under its influence.
This unit recalls the an astronomical observation of plantary gemmation. The whole is experienced again as a machined artifact.
